LEGACY LEADER 

APPLICATION

Applications open January 1st, 2020!

The Legacy Leaders are the driving force of the HoPe Leadership Chapters. Each chapter consists of 4 student leaders who are motivated, passionate, and enthusiastic to breathe, live, and love HoPe! All interested applicants must make sure to read the qualifications and responsibilities found below. Please keep in mind that being a HoPe Leadership Chapter Officer requires dedication and commitment to improve as a leader, improve your school, and your community. 

President Qualifications

  • Must be a high school student.

  • Must have a minimum of a 3.2 GPA

  • Must be driven, organized and exemplary.

  • Must be able to commit for one (1) full academic year.

  • Must demonstrate past leadership capabilities.

  • Must be in good standing with the high school.

  • Must complete an Officer Application in order to be considered for the position.

  • Following the establishment year of the HoPe Leadership Chapter, the interested student must be a HoPe Leadership Chapter Member for a minimum of 1 semester.

  • If selected as officer, must attend the mandatory HoPe Youth Leadership Summit during July. Failure to do will result in possible termination as an officer. 

Vice President Qualifications

 

  • Must be a high school student.

  • Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA

  • Must be driven, organized and exemplary.

  • Must be able to commit for one (1) full academic year.

  • Must demonstrate past leadership capabilities.

  • Must be in good standing with the high school.

  • Must complete an Officer Application in order to be considered for the position.

  • Following the establishment year of the HoPe Leadership Chapter, the interested student must be a HoPe Leadership Chapter Member for a minimum of 1 semester.

Once you have read them, please proceed to the bottom of the page.

Once you have fully read and understood the HoPe Leadership Chapter Officer Qualifications and Responsibilities, you may click the button below to apply and be considered for a HoPe Leadership Chapter Officer position.

 

Deadline to apply for officer positions is:

  • Current Chapters: Friday, March 27th, 2020 at midnight.

  • New Chapters: Friday, April 10th, 2020 at midnight.

 

Please Keep in Mind That

  • All interested students must fill out the HoPe Leadership Chapter Officer Application in its entirety. 

 

  • All interested students MUST either:

    • Upload a letter of recommendation from a teacher, administrator, or counselor to their HoPe Leadership Chapter Officer Application, or

    • Have the recommender submit the letter through our online portal available HERE.

 

 

  • Once approved, all HoPe Leadership Chapter Officers MUST attend the 3-day overnight HoPe Youth Leadership Summit on July 9th - 11th, 2020 at the John C. Maxwell Leadership Center.

    • Please note that this is MANDATORY for all Officers!
